Homer Holcomb, s/o Norman Holcomb and Mahala Phelps was born November 5, 1863 and died March 30, 1957. He married Cora Nina Rose February 1, 1885. She was the d/o Elijah Rose and Martha Cotton and was born March 2, 1867 and died September 10, 1931. Homer and Cora had twelve children: Homer, born November 14, 1885, Jessie Rose, b. April 26, 1888, Ralph, born April 3, 1889, Hazel Pearl, born January 19, 1891, Frances Edith, born March 8, 1894, Hilda Clare, born November 17, 1898, Shirley Leslie, born April 7, 1901, Edith Mae, born June 22, 1902, Dora Louise, born January 3, 1904, Mildred Cammer, born August 20, 1905 and Beatrice Cora, born January 21, 1913.
