A meeting held at the Meeting house on the Mountain settlement in the town of Windham on the third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Nine legally notified for the purpose of incorporation agreeable to the Act entitled “An act to incorporate Religious Societies passed in the year 1801.
Resolved that Jonathan Beach and Elisha Thompson preside
Resolved that Abraham Camp, William Beach, Justus Squire, Israel Thompson, Ebenezer Johnson & Theophilus Peck serve as Trustees.
Resolved that this Society be known by the name and title of the second Congregational Society in the town of Windham.
We do hereby Certify that the above is a just and true Statement of the proceedings of the meeting above mentioned
